[News] Worldcoin launches World ID 2.0, integrating with Shopify, Mercado Libre, Reddit and Telegram
Recently, Worldcoin launched World ID 2.0 version, which has been successfully integrated with platforms such as Shopify, Mercado Libre, Reddit and Telegram, allowing users to prove that they are real users on these platforms. Previously, Worldcoin has integrated with Discord, Talent Protocol, and Okta’s Auth0.
The new version, World ID 2.0, also allows application developers to choose between different authentication levels, from "lite" to "maximum". The different levels are designed to "give people more ways to use their World ID based on the application's security needs and ensure individuals don't share more information than they need or want."
For example, an application that requires high security might require users to have an ORB-validated ID. In contrast, an app more focused on convenience might only require a "device authentication" World ID tied to the user's phone.
