Golden Finance reported that according to Bloomberg, Blockchain.com plans to expand its staff by 25% in the first quarter to enter new markets such as Nigeria and Turkey. It is reported that the company currently has about 300 employees. The exchange also hired Curtis Ting, former head of global operations at Kraken, to help the company establish a new center in Paris and create local entities across Europe to comply with new regulations. Blockchain.com's European business is currently managed by a single entity based in London. Blockchain.com CEO Peter Smith said the company will also seek more local licenses. Golden Finance previously reported that Blockchain.com recently raised $110 million in funds, led by UK Kingsway Capital.
