Google has taken a bold step towards the future of online search by announcing the launch of a feature that allows some users to create images generated by artificial intelligence (AI).
This new feature will allow users to send a message and receive up to four image results, which they can then refine with additional information.
The company has explained that this feature will be available to users who have opted for its AI-powered Generative Search Experience (SGE).
Although it will primarily be accessed through the search bar, it will also be displayed in Google Images results.
A feature called "About this image" will be implemented soon to verify both traditional and AI-generated images.
Although many of these services offer free versions, most require the purchase of credits to access their full potential.
