PANews reported on December 23 that according to the official blog, ConsenSys recently announced the launch of the Web3 social application and NFT greeting card platform "Soulflake" on the Polygon chain. The platform allows users to connect to the MetaMask wallet to create, send and receive soul-bound NFT greeting cards, and also supports the gift of MATIC tokens worth $1, $10, $50 or $100 on the platform.
The dApp is free to use, but it requires senders to pay a small amount of MATIC tokens upfront as an anti-spam mechanism. If a recipient wants to burn an unwanted SoulBound card, they can use the burn allowance. This gives recipients control over what goes into their wallet and helps deter senders from sending offensive notes or spam.
