Bitcoin to Reach Between $750,000 and $1 Million, Says Arthur Hayes By Luciano Rocha
One more prediction just arrived in the days preceding the next halving; this time, a known name from the crypto environment shared his thoughts.
Arthur Hayes, the co-founder and macroeconomics analyst at BitMEX, has made a new super optimistic prediction about the price of Bitcoin (BTC). According to Hayes, the cryptocurrency will reach a new high between $750,000 and $1 million within three years, meaning by 2026.
Hayes's prediction is much more optimistic than that of most analysts in terms of price. However, his timeline is in tune with Bitcoin's post-halving movements. History shows that the cryptocurrency tends to hit new highs in the year following a halving event.
This time, the halving is expected to take place in April 2024, which puts the high rally prediction at some point in 2025. On the other hand, Hayes also predicted that all financial assets should experience an unprecedented boom by 2026.
The Biggest Bull Market in History In an interview with Impact Theory, Hayes stated that BTC is not expected to break the range between $25,000 and $30,000 this year. But by the end of 2024, and especially after the halving, the cryptocurrency is expected to surpass its all-time high of $69,000.
In this sense, cryptocurrencies can benefit even with high interest rates. Even with rates in the U.S. above 5%, Hayes believes that economic growth will keep inflation above the Fed's target.
Another bullish factor is the potential launch of more spot Bitcoin ETFs by large asset managers. According to Hayes, that's where "the real fun begins," with massive inflows of money into the market.
"My bullish target is the level of $750,000 to $1,000,000 by 2026. I believe this will be the biggest bull market in financial assets that we have ever seen in the history of humanity," said Hayes.
