Doginals was released in February 2023. It is the earliest version released and the version closest to the original standard of Bitcoin ordinals. As mentioned earlier, the first token of Doginals was dogi, which was deployed in March. However, the wallet was not yet complete in early March. At that time, most of the minters were geeks who knew code, and due to the cheap gas of Dogecoin, some people in the community believed that the dogi deployed in March was not decentralized, and the chips might be concentrated in the hands of a few people. So at 2023–05–09 15:50:54 UTC, someone redeployed a version of dogi with a total of 2.1 billion.

The DPalwallet team built an indexer for this dogi, which means that the effective mint has been calculated since May 9th. When indexing dogim, it claims to have filtered out the witch mint address (this is also the main difference from the other version).
Later, DPalwallet released the dogex exchange. In order to distinguish it from the dogi deployed in March, the name of this version of dogi was changed to dogim on the front end.
