Former CEO of crypto exchange BitMEX Arthur Hayes said in an interview with Tom Bilyeu that by 2026, the price of the first cryptocurrency will reach between $750,000 and $1 million.

He justified his prediction with:

- the limited issuance of the asset;

- the prospect of approval of spot bitcoin ETFs;

- geopolitical uncertainty.

"I think this is going to be the biggest boom in financial markets in the history of mankind. Bitcoin will soar to absurd levels, the Nasdaq will soar to absurd levels, the S&P 500 will soar to absurd levels," Hayes said.

According to the analyst, next year quotes of digital gold may reach the $70,000 mark.

In May 2023, Hayes ruled out updating the historical maximum of bitcoin before the end of the year, but allowed a new rally of the asset in 2024.

Recall, in September, he noted that since March, the first cryptocurrency has been in a bullish trend and will realize a new momentum over the next 6-12 months.

The expert is convinced that the growing phase started after the Fed launched a $25 billion program to stabilize the banking sector in light of the "rescue" of Silicon Valley Bank.
