The Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM) is considering exploring a regulatory sandbox for tokenization use cases planned to launch in 2024. CVM continues its efforts to launch its second sandbox after experimenting with tokenizing approximately $36 million in assets.
CVM highlights some areas for tokenization applications such as agriculture and environment, social and governance. The CVM and the central bank should evaluate developments in the digital asset space and how other countries are handling regulations.
