📈 South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit faced more than 159,000 cyber attack attempts in the first half of 2023. This figure represents an increase of 117% compared to the same period in 2022 and an incredible 1800% increase compared to the first half of 2020.

🔒 Upbit has increased security measures in response to security breach attempts. This includes increasing the proportion of funds stored in cold wallets to 70% and strengthening security protocols for funds held in hot wallets.
