Golden Finance reported that according to The Block's data dashboard, Yuga Labs' royalty revenue fell to $2.5 million in the third quarter ending in September, compared with $8.7 million in the first quarter of this year. Brad Kay, an analyst at The Block Research, explained that Blur's plan to enter the NFT field with a minimum royalty of 0.5%, coupled with attractive airdrops and bidding incentives, has aroused strong economic resonance among traders. By cutting transaction costs, it increases traders' profits and siphons away a lot of user activity from higher-fee platforms such as OpenSea, where Yuga Labs had previously thrived. This shift has not only led to a sharp contraction in Yuga Labs' royalty revenue, but also a fundamental reconfiguration of the NFT market.
