Exclusive: Bitmain, the largest Bitcoin mining machine manufacturer, announced on October 3 that because the company's operating cash flow has not turned positive in September, it has decided to pause Pay part of salary to all employees in September.

Several internal employees confirmed the authenticity of the announcement. Bitmain just held a conference in Hong Kong and launched its latest S21 miner.

On the afternoon of October 7, Bitmain refunded September salaries and stated that they were just not paying performance salaries to some people. It was also refunded and the basic salary was issued normally on September 30.
