Golden Finance reported that Michael Lewis, the author of "The Big Short", claimed in an interview that he was lucky enough to meet with SBF, the former CEO of FTX, more than 100 times. While meeting with SBF, he viewed some internal FTX documents showing the amount of money celebrities had made by working with cryptocurrency companies. Lewis said FTX paid Tom Brady $55 million for 20 hours per year for three years. Paid NBA All-Star Steph Curry $35 million to work 20 hours a year for 3 years. Lewis also claims that SBF paid tens of millions of dollars to several other celebrities to promote FTX, including Super Bowl ads.
