Judge Torres ruled in July that Ripple violated federal securities law in how it sold XRP to institutional investors, but that it had not done so with retail investors. Another judge in the same court, Judge Jed Rakoff, disagreed with the judgment when he ruled on a different case, also brought by the SEC.

Ripple applies for crypto license in the United Kingdom
Ripple applied for registration as a crypto asset firm with the United Kingdom's Financial Conduct Authority after its partial win against the U.S. SEC.

OPINION....
Doesn't that now mean that a singular financial instrument is trading without caveat and defined separation of a linaged derrivitive?
Realistically, if the outcome of a rolling can be 'influenced' in either direction, post large financial silo usage, wouldn't that be as if a free carry loan at advantage is optioned by he bearer.
Much like a blank cheque book of sorts.... could be the perfect institutional raid blunt instrument. At Minimum definitely the Shrodinger of cats. and a Solid snake of a cardboard box.
