According to Cointelegraph, wallet provider MetaMask provides users with more information about transactions and in-app interactions to prevent malicious actors from stealing users' crypto assets. Francesco Andreoli, head of the ConsenSys developer community, said that the security of the recently released MetaMask Snaps is critical to users. Andreoli emphasized the importance of user consent and ensuring that users understand every step in various chains and decentralized applications (DApps). Andreoli said that user consent is one of its main priorities and Snaps aims to provide full transparency about how each Snap interacts with the MetaMask wallet extension. The new update shows users more data points so that they can understand their transactions. Andreoli also demonstrated how a snap called Wallet Guard can help users prevent malicious transactions.
