On October 6, Bitcoin (BTC) volatility decreased and BTC price returned to bearish preparations. According to Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView data, BTC/USD followed a flatter course over the 24-hour period. As the cryptocurrency market approaches the $28,000 level ahead of Wall Street's open, concerns about potential losses have increased.

Daan Crypto Trades examined two important moving averages (MAs) on a one-day time frame and determined which MA will give up first which will determine the trend for the rest of October. He also stated that due to increasing open interest (OI) in the stock markets, first short positions and then long positions may be squeezed.

According to CoinGlass data, there were negligible liquidations of both long and short BTC positions on October 6. Material Indicators, on the other hand, focused on whale trading behavior throughout the week and showed that different classes of whales made contradictory moves.

As a result, looking at whale movements and exchange-based setups, there appears to be a potential liquidity grab set below $27,400.
