I mainly use daily K-line combined with wave theory for research, judgment, comparison and analysis. I have used other indicators before, such as the moving average for a period of time. But later I gradually gave up, or just used it as a reference.

There are various reasons, such as the moving average. I found that if I look at the past market, it is generally consistent with the market trend, but it is often the last. This frequent lag makes it impossible for me to make timely judgments and decisive handling, and this "timely" and "decisive" is crucial to my overall futures thinking and concept of "stop loss first, timing first".

So I think it is not suitable for my operation style and philosophy. I gave up on it. Of course, it is helpful to use it as a reference sometimes. It is not a question of whether the moving average or other technical indicators are good or bad, but whether they are suitable for me.

The question facing every futures trader is not which technology is the best, but which technology is more suitable for your personality, operating style, and overall futures philosophy.
