🇹🇷 Judge Analisa Torres, who rejected the interim appeal of the case filed by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against Ripple, stated that the SEC could not show control questions regarding legal issues and that there were significant differences of opinion on the issue.

In his October 3 court order, Judge Torres denied the SEC's application: "The SEC's interlocutory appeal is denied and the SEC's request for a hearing is vacated."

On July 13, Judge Torres ruled in part in favor of Ripple, stating that retail sales of the XRP token do not constitute the legal definition of securities.
