With the official announcement made today, Binance announced significant support for three altcoins: Sei (SEI), IOTA (IOTA) and Arweave (AR). According to the statement, Binance will support Sei (SEI), IOTA (IOTA) and Arweave (AR) network upgrades and hard forks.
The Sei (SEI) network upgrade will occur at block height 29,772,820 or approximately at 18:00 (UTC) on 03.10.2023. Starting from this date, deposits and withdrawals of Sei (SEI) tokens will be suspended.
The IOTA (IOTA) network upgrade and hard fork will occur at the 7,669,900 milestone or approximately at 04.10.2023 09:00 (UTC). Starting from this date, deposits and withdrawals of IOTA (IOTA) tokens will be suspended. After the upgrade, the total supply will be replaced by 4.6 billion IOTA tokens.
The Arweave (AR) network upgrade and hard fork will occur at block height 1,275,480 or approximately at 05.10.2023 10:00 (UTC). Starting from this date, deposits and withdrawals of Arweave (AR) tokens will be suspended.
During this period, token trading on the specified networks will not be affected. Binance will accommodate all technical requirements of users and reopen deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the specified networks after determining that the upgraded networks are stable.
