Cryptocurrency mining enterprises officially operating in Kazakhstan have complained of high costs as the government has limited their access to subsidized electricity and introduced progressive fee scales.

In an open letter to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, eight digital currency mining companies called for a review of current tax rules. They stated that the mining sector in Kazakhstan is in an extremely difficult situation.

Today, all the largest representatives of the industry have suspended their activities and plan to completely cease their business in the Republic of Kazakhstan by the end of the year.
Miners note that their activities are carried out under a license, their data centers are legally connected to the power grid, and their computing equipment is registered in the prescribed manner. In addition, a transparent mechanism for determining the income base has been introduced for corporate taxation.#trading #CryptoNews $BTC
