According to TechFlow, on October 2, Sota Watanabe, founder of Astar Network, a smart contract platform of Polkadot ecosystem, tweeted that the Astar zkEVM testnet will be launched in October and enter the next stage.
As previously reported on September 13, Polkadot's smart contract platform Astar Network has partnered with Polygon Labs to launch the Ethereum Layer 2 network Astar zkEVM. The Astar zkEVM testnet is scheduled to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year, and sETH will be used as the Gas token on the testnet.
