According to the Daily Planet, the project submission portal for Polygon DevX [Americas] Hackathon has been opened on the developer incentive platform DoraHacks.io. This hackathon is hosted by Polygon Labs and supports developers in North and South America to build projects. Sponsors include Circle, ETHGlobal, Trust Wallet, Rally Protocol and Phala Network, with a total prize pool of US$90,000. The deadline for project submission is October 31.

The Polygon DevX [Americas] Hackathon aims to encourage developers to explore emerging application development directions on Polygon to help Polygon provide more scalable, economical and secure blockchain infrastructure. Teams can participate in various bounties provided by Polygon, Trust Wallet, Circle, Rally Protocol and Phala Network.

The co-founders of Polygon and the Polygon zkEVM team will serve as judges for this hackathon, evaluating the contestants based on technical design, innovation, practicality, user experience, project potential, etc. The winning projects will be invited to participate in the Polygon Connect roadshow and join the Polygon internal Dev Circle, and will also receive official support from Polygon in terms of tools, markets, and financing.
