Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world by trading volume, announced that its platform is experiencing access restrictions for its users in Venezuela.

“Like several websites of companies from different segments in Venezuela, including social networks, Binance pages have been facing access restrictions,” reads an official post from Binance on X.

Users in Venezuela cannot access Binance
This situation has raised red flags among users in Venezuela. However, the cryptocurrency exchange assured that the funds are SAFU.

“We want to assure you that your funds are SAFU under our robust security protocols. We understand the inconvenience and concern that this situation may cause. We are monitoring the situation closely to address it in the best and quickest way possible,” Binance said.

It is important to note that the restriction applies only to the web platform. BeInCrypto confirmed that the app on mobile devices is working completely normally.

Venezuelan users, accustomed to facing restrictions on internet access, have responded quickly by resorting to virtual private networks (VPNs) to bypass the blockade and continue accessing the platform.

VPNs have become an essential tool to maintain connection with the outside world and access restricted content. #Binance #BinanceTournament #binancesuquare
