On September 12, CyberPictures, a high-quality RWA asset issuance platform focusing on the entertainment industry, and Odaily Planet Daily jointly held an offline event "INCEPTION - The Future Of Web3 Entertainment" during Token 2049 in Singapore.

Many important guests attended the event. CyberPictures' President Jonah Greenberg and Operation Head Mihwak Yang gave speeches, announcing the official launch of the platform, and gave a comprehensive explanation of CyberPictures' vision. They also released the platform's first RWA project, Omeebo.

Investors including ArkStream Capital Co-Founder Allen Su, dForce Founder Mindao Yang, DigiFT Lead of research and innovation Ryan Chen, Republic Crypto Advisory Partner Jonathan Han, and PSE Trading Founder Xiaochen Wang participated in the roundtable discussion titled "RWA: The Key to Next Era".

Jonah Greenberg, President of CyberPictures, a producer and executive who has been deeply involved in the traditional film and television industry for many years, said: Despite the considerable box office revenue in the current film market, the global film industry still faces sustainability issues, such as tightening budgets, reduced production, frequent strikes, difficulty in fundraising, lengthy creative and production processes, and prone to various problems.

He mentioned that when he recently communicated with industry veterans such as Francis Ng, they lamented that 20 years ago was the golden age of the film industry, when fundraising and realizing content ideas were simple and joyful. Today, "making movies" is difficult, and many times it is people who have nothing to do with the film itself who decide whether a film is worth making and whether it can be released. This is a disservice to both high-quality content creators and audiences who want to see good content.

Now CyberPictures will make this process efficient through the decentralization of Web3, innovate the film industry, upgrade the business model, and strive to narrow the distance between audiences and content, connect creators and audiences/users, and allow audiences to participate in the production and copyright of movies at an early stage by issuing RWA assets, so as to support high-quality content and gain revenue at the same time. He said that this new trend makes him and other filmmakers excited and look forward to it.

Next, CyberPictures’ Operation Head Mihwak Yang gave a detailed introduction and analysis of how the platform will conduct its business and connect creators and audiences/fans. CyberPictures will provide creators with one-stop services including fundraising, community building, incubation and consulting, and provide fans with rights and interests at different stages and levels.

Specifically, in order to meet different needs, CyberPictures can provide three main types of film and television RWA assets:

The first is the IFO (Initial Film Offering) created by them, which is aimed at the early or mid-term stages, with high investment returns but certain risks; the second is STO, which is aimed at mid- and late-stage film investments. CyberPictures will cooperate with the compliance platform Republic to jointly launch STO; the third is mainly for late-stage projects, focusing on fan economy, for example, NFTs can be issued, various content consumption rights can be bound, and even fans can participate in movie content, naming roles, etc., to deeply experience and participate in film production.

In addition, Mihwak Yang also demonstrated Omeebo, the first RWA film project of the CyberPictures platform, on site. It is a new film and television IP created by Philip Gelatt, screenwriter of "Love, Death and Robots", and director Patrick Jean, producer and screenwriter of "Pixels". Users can participate in the film and television project by holding NFTs. Mihwak Yang played a short film trailer on site and said that by scanning the code to register on the platform to participate and obtain points, there may be an opportunity to receive airdrops in the future. The project received a warm response from the audience.

In the subsequent roundtable discussion, ArkStream Capital Co-Founder Allen Su, dForce Founder Mindao Yang, DigiFT Lead of research and innovation Ryan Chen, Republic Crypto Advisory Partner Jonathan Han, and PSE Trading Founder Xiaochen Wang had an in-depth discussion on the opportunities and risks facing the popular RWA track in the current market.

The guest mentioned that the main hot spots of RWA are currently concentrated in niche areas such as "tokenized government bonds", but it is expected to expand to all fields in the future. In addition to standardized assets, entertainment tracks such as film and television as alternative assets also have unique appeal to ordinary users.

They will continue to pay attention to the subsequent business progress of CyberPictures, and expect CyberPictures to open up incremental traffic entrances for new Web3 narratives while transforming the traditional film industry, creating a new application track.
