According to Foresight News, the DID protocol .bit has been upgraded to d.id. The new brand has proposed the concept of "DID as a Service" and launched .bit, which can issue DID with one click, SoulFrag, a reputation management system based on DID, Voty, a community governance system based on DID, and d.id Profile, a personal user display space.

d.id said that the new brand will focus on exploring three core themes: the relationship between the community and the individual, community governance and collaboration, and how to maintain individual uniqueness amid the rapid rise of AI. d.id completed a $13 million Series A financing in August 2022, with participation from CMB International, HashKey Capital, and GSR Ventures.
