According to Foresight News, in response to SBF's lawyer's motion to allow SBF to be released from prison to prepare for his defense, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) said that the incarcerated SBF will have access to a laptop and three hard drives containing defense materials seven days a week. SBF can use the laptop for 11 hours a day on weekdays and 7.5 hours a day on weekends and holidays.

In response to questions defense attorneys had previously raised about battery life and weak internet connections, prosecutors said the defense team provided new batteries with "approximately eight hours of battery life" and internet speeds ranging from 7.5 mbps to 34 mbps, which is sufficient for most internet censorship activities.
