Odaily Planet Daily News: Treble Technologies, an Icelandic metaverse sound experience startup, announced the completion of a 5.5 million euro (about 5.7 million U.S. dollars) seed round of financing, led by Nordic venture capital Frumtak Ventures, with participation from Nova, the venture capital department of Fortune 500 company Saint-Gobain, and a group of angel investors. It is reported that the subscription software platform developed by Treble Technologies can help game developers create simulated sounds in the virtual environment of the metaverse. Its platform can also be connected with 3D modeling software, design systems and game engines to integrate sound design directly into the development process. The platform is currently in closed testing mode and is expected to be fully released in the first quarter of 2023. (Business Insider)
