Hello Binancian:
Binance will carry out the conversion of all remaining New Bitshares (NBS) balances to USDT based on users' NBS holdings at the time of the snapshot on September 9, 2023 00:00 (UTC).
Binance will then replace all New Bitshares (NBS) token balances in users' Binance wallets with an equivalent amount in USDT on December 8, 2023 at 23:59 (UTC). The conversion will be carried out according to the average NBS/USDT conversion rate between September 9, 2023 at 00:00 (UTC) and December 8, 2023 at 23:59 (UTC) (hereinafter , the “conversion period”).
A separate announcement will be made when the conversion of New Bitshares (NBS) tokens to USDT for all affected users is complete. More information about the average NBS/USDT exchange rate during the conversion period will be provided below. We hope to provide such information at the end of the conversion period in another announcement.
Please note the following:
All users holding New Bitshares (NBS) tokens in any of their Binance wallets will receive an email notification no later than August 25, 2023 at 23:59 (UTC).
New Bitshares (NBS) token deposits will not be credited to user accounts.
Withdrawals of Binance New Bitshares (NBS) tokens will be supported until September 9, 2023 at 00:00 (UTC), subject to network conditions and availability. After this date, NBS withdrawals will no longer be supported, and users will not be able to transfer their remaining NBS in their Binance accounts to any external wallets.
The conversion of the remaining New Bitshares (NBS) tokens to USDT in any users' Binance wallet will be completed no later than December 8, 2023 at 23:59 (UTC). During the conversion period, users will not be able to check their NBS balances in their Binance wallets.
