On June 28, American venture capitalist Peter Thiel, in an interview with CNBC, expressed doubts that BTC prices will rise significantly. He argues that Bitcoin has not yet fulfilled its role as a tool for financial freedom for crypto-anarchists and libertarians.
However, Thiel did not sell all of his BTC, claiming that he still has a "small position" and suggesting that "it could probably still go up a bit, but it would be a volatile wild ride."
The 'Game of Trades' analyst said that Bitcoin markets are "at a very critical level" and BTC could fall to $44,000 and still remain within this channel.
