Data privacy platform Aleo announced the launch of testnet 3 incentives, and the initial part will be used for prover incentives. Aleo has reserved 25 million Aleo Credits for Testnet 3 incentives, of which the prover incentive is 7.5 million Aleo Credits (30%).

The prover incentive period will last from 8:00 on December 2, 2022 to 07:59 on January 27, 2023, or until 7.5 million Aleo points are released, whichever comes first. Points will be used as the payment mechanism for the Aleo mainnet and can be redeemed at a 5:1 ratio when the mainnet goes online.
