Trying to explain the crypto market to your family is, without a doubt, the best comedy sketch. Yesterday I had this conversation with my grandma:

— "Grandma, I invested in Bitcoin".
— "How nice, my love! Bring me a coin to look at it". 🤩
— "It can’t be touched, grandma. It’s digital and lives in the cloud". 🖥️
— "Ah... but is it safe in the bank?" 🏦
— "No, it’s decentralized. Nobody controls it". 🔓
— "So if the power goes out, do you end up being poor?" 💡❌
— "No... well, if I lose 12 words from my seed phrase, then I lose everything". 😅

The conversation ended with me trying to explain Web3 and her giving me a $20 cash bill "just in case you run out of internet".

Sometimes we forget how abstract this ecosystem is until we try to explain it to someone outside of it.
