โโก๏ธ Fake about 2,000 hryvnias with Vasyl Stus: what is really happening to UAH?
โRumors are spreading on the network again that, starting September 4, the NBU will put a new 2,000-hryvnia banknote into circulation. This is a hoax. The National Bank has not adopted any official decisions, and the banknote photo is an old concept design by independent artists, which is currently being used by clickbait channels to gather views.
โHowever, the very fact that such rumors have appeared reflects the real state of the fiat market:
โInflation expectations: Such information hooks spread easily because society feels a drop in purchasing power amid devaluation pressure.
โChanges in price scales: The last large denomination (1,000 hryvnias) was introduced back in 2019. Itโs logical that, against the backdrop of long-term macroeconomic changes, questions about large banknotes become a trigger for the market.
โ๐ก Advice for the crypto community:
Any inflation risks and instability in the cash market traditionally fuel local investorsโ interest in digital assets. Attention shifts toward stablecoins ($USDT ,
$USDC ) and
$BTC as reliable instruments for preserving capital over the long term.
