With shitcoins that have insanely wild volatility, the combination of a Large Margin + Moderate Leverage (10x) is the strongest line of defense, while a Tiny Margin + Massive Leverage (50x–100x) is an express ticket to instant liquidation.

Using 10x leverage gives the coin plenty of room to withstand a correction (10%) and breathe around the bottom. Meanwhile, the large margin you put in upfront acts like a heavy anchor, keeping the position stable.

Once the whales finish hunting stop-losses and start pumping the coin, your contract size—already boosted by that large margin—will generate quick profits, even with just a minor 1%–2% move.

A lot of retail traders fall for the illusion that using Cross Margin will keep them safe while they’re “hoping a worm will turn into a dragon.” But if the initial margin is tiny and the leverage is sky-high (say, 50x–100x), Cross Margin’s destructive power is far more terrifying than Isolated Margin’s.
