The Stabble exchange urged users to withdraw funds
#stabble #MarketRebound The warning appeared after an investigation by blockchain analyst ZachXBT, who claimed that a suspected North Korean developer was working on the related project Elemental.
According to him, it concerns a person who used the name Keisuke Watanabe and several pseudonyms, including kasky53, keisukew53, kdevdivvy, and 0xWoo.
"Stop virtue signaling — you omitted the fact that you had an IT specialist from North Korea working at Elemental for years," ZachXBT stated.
The Stabble team confirmed that such an employee could indeed have worked on the team a year ago, but now the exchange has "a new team that took control of the project four weeks ago".
Later, representatives of the exchange clarified that no hacking facts were identified, and the recommendation to withdraw funds was preventive in nature. The company emphasized that the priority remains the security of liquidity providers.
The team also announced plans to conduct additional security checks on the platform.
