Binance Pay’s Red Packet is a feature designed to quickly and for free gift, send, or receive small amounts of cryptocurrency through a code or link.
Binance
This feature is inspired by the Asian tradition of giving red envelopes with money during festivities to bring good luck, adapted to the crypto ecosystem.

📌 What is it mainly for?
Receive free cryptocurrency: Binance frequently runs promotions or community events where it distributes Red Packets with Rewards that any verified user can claim by entering a code.

Send gifts to friends: It lets you send funds to one or multiple people without needing to ask for their wallet address or email; you only share the code or a link with them.

Dynamics on social media or communities: Many content creators, Telegram channels, or users on Binance Square give away Red Packets to their followers as a reward for engagement.
⚙️ How does it work when you create one?
Binance
If you decide to gift a packet to a group of people, you can set how the funds are distributed:
Random: The pool of crypto you allocate is distributed unevenly and unpredictably among those who open the packet (some receive more, others less).
Binance
Fixed: All recipients receive exactly the same amount.
Binance
Timed: The packet is only available to claim during a set period of time (for example, between 1 and 60 minutes).
