Pineapple Launches Injective Treasury with $100 Million USD in INJ Purchase of $8.9 Million USD

Pineapple Financial Inc., a fintech company based in Toronto, has officially launched its Injective Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) strategy worth $100 million USD. The first step is the purchase of 678,353 Injective tokens ($INJ ) on the open market, valued at approximately $8.9 million USD.

Staking Ambitions and Superior Yields

This initial investment marks the first phase in the ambition of #Pineapple to become the largest holder and staker of INJ in the world. The company plans to deploy the entire amount of these tokens into on-chain staking, with an expected annual yield of 12.75%.
This yield is expected to be high, nearly double compared to $ETH and about 1.8 times higher than the current staking rate of $SOL . The purchase of INJ follows Pineapple's completion of a $100 million USD private fundraising round in September 2025 to fund this treasury.

CEO of Pineapple Financial, Shubha Dasgupta, stated that this investment emphasizes the company's belief in the strength and future of the $INJ token.
