The U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control also issued a license that allows the provision to Venezuela of certain articles and services related to telecommunications.
This Friday, August 21, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury issued two licenses: General License No. 61, which authorizes “the provision to Venezuela of certain articles and services related to telecommunications,” and General License No. 62, which “authorizes the negotiation and the entering into of conditional contracts for investments in the telecommunications sector of Venezuela.”
