The company #Tether is negotiating and may lead a funding round of €1 billion (approximately $1.16 billion) for a robotics startup #NeuraRobotics . This is reported by the Financial Times, citing its sources.

According to the publication, the valuation of the startup, if the round is successfully completed, will reach between €8 billion and €10 billion (approximately $9 billion-$11 billion). The names of other potential venture investors willing to support the Tether initiative are not disclosed.

The publication noted that the startup aims to produce 5 million robots by 2030. At the same time, it is alleged that the company has already received orders worth €1 billion.

But even in such a case, the declared volume of the round is a significant step forward for the startup. In January 2025, Neura Robotics raised €120 million (approximately $140 million) led by #Lingotto Investment Management and with the participation of #Volvo Cars Tech Fund, BlueCrest Capital Management, InterAlpen Partners, and Vsquared Ventures.
