coinbase just reported a $359m loss in q2

last year they made $1.4b in the same quarter, but now:

- trading revenue dropped 22%
- their crypto holdings lost value
- they even cut around 700 jobs

if one of the biggest exchanges is struggling like this, imagine how hard it is for the smaller ones

and we already saw a few exchanges shut down last quarter

will we see more shutdowns soon?
