Is it really running strategies, or is the developer manually operating in the background? Is it logic hard-coded in the code, or one day will the model glitch and end up liquidating your position? You can only bet on the project team’s conscience, bet on the operations team’s moral bottom line—and in this space, betting on conscience is the most expensive thing.
