The acting head of state explained that the increase in electric generation capacity is supported by agreements signed with international companies to strengthen national infrastructure.
The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, ordered the execution of a plan to recover thermoelectric generation with the incorporation of an additional 4,800 megawatts before the end of the year.
“I have requested specific plans. The first plan is a project to recover thermoelectric generation, so that by the end of this year we will have an additional 4,800 megawatts of thermoelectric generation available,” Rodríguez stated, according to a note from the official AVN agency.
