Hello everyone!
Finally decided to shut down my failed PEPE bots. Yes, I closed them at a loss—unpleasant, but I consider it a good lesson.

Too large a part of the deposit was tied up in a meme coin, and when there’s a sharp drawdown, the bot no longer saves you from the asset’s fall itself.
So I decided to change my approach a bit.

Right now, I’ve directed the main part of my available funds into a bot on BNB, and a small portion into ADA. I plan to keep both bots for quite a while and see how they perform over the distance.

My main takeaway after PEPE: I won’t put the bulk of my deposit into meme coins anymore. Maybe a small amount for experiments—sure—but the core of the portfolio will now be in larger, more established coins.

It will be interesting to compare the results of BNB and ADA later: how many trades the bots will make, how much profit the grid will generate, and how they’ll handle possible market drawdowns.

I’ll periodically post the results—let’s see what comes of it 👀

$ADA is moving again — but the more interesting story is not the 12.7% weekly rebound.

Cardano is now around $0.23, with roughly $8.7B market cap, $693M in 24h volume, and about 37.52B ADA circulating. The token is still ~92.5% below its September 2021 ATH of $3.09.

What changed underneath the price is Cardano’s governance model.

The Van Rossem hard fork went live on July 18, 2026, moving Cardano to Protocol v11. At the same time, governance has become an actual operating layer: DReps, SPOs and the Constitutional Committee now participate in decisions over protocol changes and treasury spending.

And the treasury is becoming economically important. Cardano’s governance tracker currently shows about 1.36B ADA in treasury, while recent approved funding includes ₳120M for Cardano PRIME. Other proposals are still being voted on, including an ₳11.79M OpenZeppelin stack withdrawal.

That creates the real question for ADA: can treasury capital translate into enough network usage to create durable demand for the token?

The contrast is striking. ADA can rally sharply on upgrades, liquidity and governance headlines, but Cardano’s reported 24h fees are only about $1.3K, versus hundreds of millions of dollars in market trading volume.

So the market may be pricing the potential of Cardano’s next phase before the economic output fully catches up.

The important metric from here isn't simply whether ADA keeps climbing. It's whether protocol development, treasury deployment and new infrastructure eventually produce measurable on-chain demand.
