The thing I want from an agent isn't intelligence. It's availability. I'm asleep at 3am when the window opens, at lunch when the bid appears, in a meeting when the claim expires. Give it the schedule, keep the judgment for myself.

What would earn more trust is restraint. A cap per contract, a simulation before every call, a log I can read the next morning, and permission to say no when the price moved or the contract is an hour old.

Reliability over cleverness. That is the whole ask.
