Zcash development company Electric Coin Company (ECC) released the source code of its new technology Halo 2. Reportedly, Halo 2 is a more efficient and updated version of ECC's recursive proof composition, exempting the initial setting of trust, and may also provide scaling solutions for Zcash and other blockchains. Besides, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) also invested in the development of Halo 2.
