Energy drink brand Monster Energy has four pending trademark applications related to the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and metaverse realms, according to recent filings with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
The first trademark application comprises downloadable virtual goods related to beverages, sports, gaming, music, apparel, food, and supplements. The second filing consists of retail stores and online retail stores services.
A third filing comprises entertainment services related to virtual apparel, while a final fourth filing includes providing online software to facilitate the transmission of digital assets among the users of blockchain technology.
