Big Screen Entertainment’s digital assets team are working on the launch of a cryptocurrency payments option, as well as the creation of NFTs that can be used in cinemas, according to a press release.

The company now has a presence on the NFT marketplace OpenSea, with various animations, short videos, character artwork and other collectables to be incorporated into the project.

“The space where art meets technology has many broad opportunities especially for Big Screen," said Kimberley Kates, the company's chief executive.
