SUSHI token gains after top developer proposes joining the platform

SUSHI - the native token of SushiSwap, gained as much as 13% on Binance in early European trading hours. The token hit a 24-hour high of 6.30 against Tether on Binance at the time of writing.

The gains came after a developer for the Avalanche blockchain - Daniele Sestagalli - posted a proposal SUSHI’s governance forum to join the community and collaborate to restructure the platform. SushiSwap is a Decentralized Finance (DeFi) liquidity provision platform that aims to be an evolution of Uniswap.

Sestagalli is said to be an influential developer in crypto. He is associated with the Wonderland and Abracadabra projects.
