Binance will gradually launch a new version of the unified account plan for all eligible users, and the plan is expected to be fully launched before June 7, 2023. Please note: The existing Unified Account Plan has been renamed Classic Unified Account Plan.
This is a new cross-asset margin plan that will be open to VIP 4-9 users, as well as users whose trading volume in U-based contracts and coin-based contracts meets the VIP 4-9 trading volume requirements. Eligible users can enjoy more flexibility in their trading strategies by enabling the new unified account plan, which allows them to use a variety of supported assets as margin in U-based contracts, coin-based contracts, and cross-margin wallets.
Main highlights:
Margin assets: More than 200 assets are supported as margin in the unified account. Please refer to this page for the complete list of supported margin assets and corresponding mortgage rates.
API endpoints for unified accounts: Users can access the new version of unified account-specific API endpoints in the Binance API documentation for a comprehensive list of specifications.
Insurance fund coverage: The forced liquidation process for unified accounts is the same as the default mode for contract trading and cross-margin trading. For details, please refer to the liquidation agreement, risk protection fund and leverage insurance fund.
Pooling funds: By manually using the pooling funds function, the system will transfer all positive balances in the Coin-based and U-based-PM wallets to your Leverage-PM wallet. Please note: BNB in the user's U-based contract-PM wallet will not be transferred, and users can continue to enjoy BNB transaction fee discounts.
Please note:
Binance will complete the release of the above features by June 7, 2023. Before then, some users may or may not be able to access these features.
To access the new unified account plan on the Binance App, users should download the latest Binance App or upgrade their Binance App to iOS v2.64.1 or Android v2.64.6 or higher.

How to activate the Unified Account Plan:
Only for VIP 4-9 users:
Option 1: Log in to Binance Futures and go to the Futures Trading page. Eligible users will see an "Upgrade" button next to "Margin Rate". Click the "Upgrade" button and complete a questionnaire to activate the unified account plan.
Option 2: Log in to your Binance account and activate the Unified Account Plan via Wallet > Contracts > Upgrade Now. Only eligible users can successfully activate the unified account plan.
For other qualified users, if your U-based and coin-based contract trading volume reaches the level of trading volume required by VIP 4-9, you can activate it by contacting your key customer privilege team. For more information see: Frequently Asked Questions.
