Changpeng Zhao, better known as CZ, is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of successful startups. He founded Binance in July 2017, and in 180 days succeeded in turning it into the world's largest digital asset platform by trading volume. As an expert in the blockchain sector, CZ founded Binance to become a leading blockchain ecosystem offering various services including a trading platform, Binance Labs, Launchpad, Binance Academy, Binance Research, Wallet Trust, Binance Charitable Foundation, as well as a platform for NFT tokens, and many more. Notably, CZ spent his youth working in burger joints before attending McGill University in Montreal. In 2005, CZ resigned from his role as President of Bloomberg Tradebook Futures Research & Development and moved to Shanghai to start working at Fusion Systems.
