Binance Awards 2020 - Launchpad Project of the Year
On Tuesday, July 14, we revealed our 2020 Binance Awards winners live during our “Off the Charts!” Virtual Conference. Here, we spotlight the nominees and winners.
Please join us in celebrating the Binance Launchpad Project of the Year. Over the past year, Binance Launchpad has revitalized interest in crypto and blockchain fundraising, all in an inclusive platform open to every Binance user. This award recognizes some of the best performing Binance Launchpad projects of 2020.
The nominees include projects launched in the past year (8 in total) that have enjoyed a positive ROI since IEO and are not acquired by Binance. So 4 projects, including Wazirx, are qualified for the nomination. We considered success factors like ROI performance, the projects’ contribution to the Binance ecosystem, and the engagement of their campaigns within the Binance community. Of course, we also excluded projects that were acquired by Binance (i.e. WazirX).

WINNER
Congratulations to Kava for winning the Binance Launchpad Project of the Year Award. It was a close contest, but KAVA pulled ahead, receiving the highest final score, with particularly strong showings in the ecosystem, staking/savings integration, and campaign categories. Elrond came in at a close second, with the best ROI performance.
All the nominees deserve praise for their hard work—thank you to all the project teams that have launched industry-shaping features and products. And thank you Binance community for your continuous trust and support. Without you, Binance Launchpad would not be the industry-leading fundraising platform that it is today.
