Binance Charity Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Binance, has announced the new Binance for Children Ambassador campaign and appointed ten prominent blockchain influencers as the first official ambassadors under the campaign, with more ambassadors to come in the future to support ongoing plans to expand Binance Charity’s programs.
The new ambassadors are:
- Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, CEO of Binance
- He Yi, Co-Founder and CMO of Binance
- Mai “Miss Bitcoin” Fujimoto, Founder of KIZUNA
- Michael Arrington, Partner of Arrington XRP Capital
- Wu Jihan, Co-founder of Bitmain
- Da Hongfei, Founder of NEO
- Dovey Wan, Funding Partner of Primitive Ventures
- Justin Sun, Founder of Tron
- Shalini, also known as Indian CryptoGirl, Indian Cryptocurrency and Blockchain influencer
- Bobby Bao, Co-Founder and Head of Corporate Development of Crypto.com
The new ambassadors will champion Binance Charity’s initiatives, which call for action on leveraging efforts from the crypto space for transparent donations that will improve children’s nutrition, health, and education. What makes this initiative unique is Binance Charity’s commitment to transparency to the last mile, to ensure that all cryptos donation will go directly to end-beneficiaries’ crypto wallets for buying food and other needs.
‘‘Let transparency transform charity,” said CZ, CEO of Binance, in a brief statement on "From the ‘Love BTC’ charity website in 2014 to BCF now, I am glad to see blockchain charity finally develop into the right state,” said He Yi, Co-Founder and CMO of Binance.
Specifically, the new ambassadors will work closely with Binance Charity and their communities through online and offline activities and social media campaigns. They will advocate for broader awareness and better fundraising outcomes for initiatives that advance the welfare of children worldwide and the “bottom billion” people in the world who are in most need of economic assistance.
Binance Charity’s on-chain assistance to needy children is transparent, trustless, and beautiful. They stand with the children, and we stand with BCF,” Michael Arrington, partner at Arrington XRP Capital, said in support of BCF’s endeavors. “I believe we can boost and promote the culture of donation significantly by collaborating with BCF,” said Miss Bitcoin Mai Fujimoto, Founder of KIZUNA, who has been dedicated to philanthropy work for a long time.
For instance, the Binance for Children Ambassadors will help in expanding the Binance Charity’s Lunch for Children program to 160 schools. The program currently provides free meals for 3,700 students from 11 schools in Uganda.
With this planned expansion, about 90,000 students from 160 schools will receive a wide range of goods that address their various needs, including breakfast and lunch meals, school supplies (such textbooks, pencils, exercise books, pens, geometry and math sets), solar panels, sanitary pads, LED screens, and more. Further details of the expansion will be disclosed soon. View the video below to learn more about the program.
Through our new collaboration with the Binance for Children Ambassadors, we expect to lead the crypto industry towards donation transparency, help expand the impact of blockchain for social good, push the boundaries of traditional charity, and benefit the less advantaged millions for a brighter future. The ambassadors’ active participation in advocating for blockchain charity will add momentum to the spread of our charity programs, including the soon-to-launch programs that aim to widen our reach to thousands or even millions more around the world.

“Let us spread transparent love to empower the bottom billion,” - Helen Hai, UNIDO Goodwill Ambassador and Head of Binance Charity Foundation.
